"TOKYO SHINE" is a big salsa event held every second Saturday in Tokyo at the gorgeous Sam & Dave club in Akasaka. The goal of this event is to provide a place for dancing and socialising in a comfortable setting --all night long-- for an affordable price. There is an excellent sound system, plenty of seating, a varied selection of drinks, and a large dance floor. There is no dance lesson or shows and all styles of dancing (on1, on2, etc.) are welcome!

Sam & Dave is on the basement floor of Hitotsugu Lip building, which is located just north of Akasaka Biz Tower and across the street from a Denny's restaurant. Three Tokyo Metro stations are within walking distance:

Akasaka (Chiyoda Line), exit 1, 2 min.
Akasaka Mitsuke (Ginza Line / Marunouchi Line), Belle Vie exit, 5min.
Tameiko-Sanno (Namboku Line), exit 10, 8 min.

Sam & Dave Akasaka is a huge, modern club with an awesome sound system, plenty of seating and a large dance floor. There is a VIP area with leather sofas for 1000 yen per person. (There is another seating area that has no extra charge). With a wide range in drinks, an entertaining staff, and a great atmosphere, Sam & Dave Akasaka is great club to spend the entire night. Easily accesible by 3 different subway lines, it couldn't be more convenient! It is a real local for Tokyo Shine.
